Countries to which Georgia exports the most goods

Although imports are undoubtedly a major part of the United States economy, the reverse is also true. In fact, according to the United States Trade Office, the U.S. is the second-largest exporter of goods in the world, second to China. The country's trade relationships with the rest of the world are widespread, reaching over 200 countries and territories.

Service exports, such as tourism and software development, are particularly important for the United States' export output. In 2022, for instance, the U.S. exported $926 billion in service exports, a 16.4% increase from 2021. According to the Observatory of Economic Complexity, other major U.S. exports include aircraft parts and petroleum gas.

Certain states' export rates vary significantly from others, depending on the predominant industries in each area. For example, in July 2025, Texas exported the most goods ($37.5 billion), followed by California ($15.9 billion) and New York ($7.6 billion).

Nationwide economic decisions can also substantially affect overall exports. If a country imposes tariffs—taxes on goods imported from a specific country—impacted countries might introduce retaliatory tariffs as a result.

When tracking U.S. economic activity, you might find yourself wondering: Which countries does my state export the most goods to? And what industries influence what gets exported?

To help answer that question, Stacker compiled a list of countries that Georgia exports the most goods to using data from the U.S. Census Bureau. Countries are ranked by the total value of exports in 2024 with Georgia.

Keep reading to find out which countries your state's exports are most likely headed to in the near future.
