We’ve talked a lot about the importance of brand discoverability in AI and how earned distribution gets you there. But we haven’t said as much about how we’ve been applying these same principles to our own website — until now.
Today we’re unveiling a redesign of the Stacker Stories web experience. The site — a sort of landing page for all of the stories we distribute on behalf of our partners — is now dramatically faster and lighter, especially on mobile.
Our goal is for the refreshed site to serve as a strong foundation for SEO and GEO, making our stories easier for search engines, AI platforms, and readers to find and use. It also now has a cleaner, more modern look.
For years, Stacker’s earned distribution platform has enabled brands to earn pickups on high-authority publisher sites and improve their credibility and trust with larger audiences. It was always a sound strategy PR-wise, and it also helped brands to improve their performance in traditional search.
But it turns out that LLMs are also trained to value content that is fresh, data-backed, and educational, meaning the content that our partners were distributing was likely to perform well in AI search as well.
Research by Muck Rack and other sources has also shown that a major way that LLMs understand which sources they can trust is through third-party validation. The more media outlets that mention or publish brand-written stories, the more that trust compounds in LLMs.
Here’s how we’ve seen this play out for our partners:
As of today, here’s how the Stacker Stories page is now even stronger for humans and LLMs:
We hope our customers see the benefits in their own AI analytics, as they leverage Stacker's high-authority domain and improved technical foundation to reach further than their own site could alone.
Just as LLMs are constantly refining what they trust, we're constantly refining how we earn that trust.
