At Stacker, we're always looking to make our product easier for our customers to use so that brand teams can focus on creating great content that builds authority.
This update brings together recent improvements to reporting and content planning, new ways to explore AI search visibility, and exciting news from our publisher network.
Clients whose package includes preview reports will now receive a notification when a preview report is ready. The notification makes clear that the report is only a preview and that the full report is still to come.
As previewed in our last quarterly update, clients can now save personalized content recommendations, called Sparks, from the Content Insights page.
Saved Sparks are collected in one place so you can revisit promising ideas, reference them during planning, and return to them when you are ready to develop a story. Whenever users like (or dislike) a Spark, that sends a signal to our AI model, which learns over time to provide better story recommendations in the future.
GEO Sparks bring data-informed story ideas into your weekly planning. Each recommendation draws on patterns across tracked stories to highlight approaches associated with stronger AI search visibility — and help you think about what to create next.
GEO Sparks are available to accounts that currently receive Sparks.
You can now select relevant GEO prompts throughout more steps of the production process — from the story-formatting stage through when your story is ready for distribution. That gives your team additional time to choose the prompts you want to track, rather than having to make that selection at just one point in the process.
You can now add or remove competitors in Settings, and your selections will appear in your GEO reporting. This gives you more control over the comparisons you see, so you can focus on the brands most relevant to the story or campaign you're tracking.
We updated the formula used to estimate views for stories published going forward. The new methodology uses a square-root-based calculation tied to a publisher's monthly audience, which helps create more balanced estimates across publishers of different sizes.
We also refreshed the sample used to inform the methodology with updated data from the past year. We will continue updating this sample over time so that our estimates remain as accurate as possible. This change applies to stories published going forward.
During story submission in the portal, you may see an indication when a story could be a fit for localization. You can let us know in the portal if you're interested, and your account manager will follow up to coordinate next steps.
The new Publisher Opportunity module on the Content Insights page helps you see publishers you haven't reached yet, along with guidance on the kinds of stories that may help you connect with them. It's another way to turn performance insights into ideas for what to publish next.
Our publisher network continues to grow, creating more opportunities for client stories to reach audiences.
We'll continue sharing product and network updates in a monthly release, bringing improvements and good news together in one place.
