The movies leaving Hulu this month

Once a year, Americans gather around their TVs to find out whether Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow, a sign that more winter days are upon us (or, if he doesn't, that spring will come early). Of course, if you'd rather watch something more comforting this week, there are thousands of titles on your favorite streaming service to choose from. Though there is another viewing-related ritual that could lead to some disappointment—a batch of films leaves each streaming platform every month. Hulu, for example, has confirmed that it will remove 22 movies from its library in February 2025.

There are many reasons why a movie might leave Hulu—the rights may no longer be available, or its popularity may not justify how much it costs to license it. Whatever the reason, you'll want to spring into action to catch some of these films before they leave Hulu.

Speaking of action, a couple of recent mysteries and crime movies are signing off from Hulu in February. The last day to watch the 2023 FBI crime thriller "To Catch a Killer," starring Shailene Woodley, is Feb. 18. Meanwhile, the 2022 British mystery drama "Rogue Agent," starring James Norton and Gemma Arterton, is being stripped from Hulu on Feb. 11.

And if you are an anglophile enthralled with the British royal family, you should prepare yourself for the departure of "Spencer." The 2021 Princess Diana feature, starring Kristen Stewart, signs off of Hulu on Feb. 7. A handful of other biographical films will also be getting the axe in February, including a few documentaries centering on beloved musicians, like 2021's "Moby Doc," about the life and career of dance music legend Moby.

Arguably one of the most upsetting departures, however, is "Spin Me Round." The 2022 dark comedy was directed and co-written by the late Jeff Baena and stars his widow, Aubrey Plaza. You have until Feb. 18 to pay homage to Baena by watching the last movie he made before his death in January 2025.

Curious about which other films are on the chopping block? Stacker compiled a list of the movies leaving Hulu in February 2024 using data from Reelgood. IMDb ratings and other data points were added for supplementary insights. Read on so that you can make time to catch these flicks before they're gone!
