Welcome to The Stacker Dispatch, Our New Home for the Brand Journalism Community

The Stacker Dispatch is a new hub for brand journalism insights, job opportunities, and community — built for content and communications leaders.

When we hosted Cited — our inaugural conference for the brand journalism community — in June, one thing became abundantly clear: this community is growing, and it needs a home.

Two hundred senior content and communications leaders joined us to hear panelists from companies like Tripadvisor, Ramp, and Fora Travel share how they're helping their brands stand out using high-quality editorial that builds authority and drives revenue.

Many people told us that they had no idea there were so many other people doing this kind of work. They're using their own data to tell compelling stories about their industry and even the world at large. They're creating new ways to illustrate their business impact and then measuring how their work shapes their brand's presence in AI search, with strong storytelling as the throughline.

Much of this work has never been done before, meaning there are lots of open questions — and lots of learning to be done.

The goal of The Stacker Dispatch is to keep the education going. We'll share hot job openings, profile interesting people in the space, and go deep on the skills you need to continue growing in your career.

We're kicking things off with a list of jobs that show how the storytelling trend continues to grow. Financial services made a strong showing in our first list, but you'll also read about a global tech leader, a vibe coding startup, and an ecommerce giant building out their own content operations and looking for people to staff them.

Organizations you'd never think of as media companies are hiring editorial directors and content strategy leaders, often at six-figure salaries, to build the same kind of owned-media operations we talked about at Cited.

Stay tuned for more.
