Jennifer is a freelance writer and editor whose main passion is covering science topics, in particular those related to the environment, health and wellness, and animals. Originally from Nova Scotia, Canada, she now lives in the United States, where she graduated from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism in 2014. When she's not writing, Jennifer can usually be found listening to podcasts on pop culture and current events, traveling, babying her plants, or hanging out with her special-needs rescue cat Jim Carrey.
