Sarah Dolezal is a freelance writer in her hometown of Athens, Georgia. She has covered topics ranging from workplace issues, employment law, and the restaurant and bar industry, to community college funding in Texas. Sarah is passionate about the intersection of data journalism and social science research methods, state and local politics, and the application of new laws to old problems, to name a few of her passions. She earned her A.B. in political science at the University of Georgia, and an M.A. in journalism and public affairs, with an investigative reporting specialty, at American University in Washington D.C.
